Links Homepage Asparagus Cucumbers Peppers Onions	Our Business R. A. Rasmussen & Sons is a family farm owned by brothers Rich and Greg Rasmussen. After planting their first crop - five acres of tomatoes in 1976 - they decided to become full-time farmers and formed R. A. Rasmussen & Sons, Inc. In 1979 their parents sold their dairy and joined forces with the brothers in the farming business. With innovative farming practices like drip irrigation, acres and acres of field greenhouses and the careful rotation and cultivation of crops to reduce or eliminate the need for pesticides, the Rasmussen farm has grown to over 1,200 acres of vegetables. Today R. A. Rasmussen & Sons is the largest fresh mixed vegetable shipper in the Northwest. On a busy August day, the farm will pick, pack and ship over 50 semi loads of fresh produce.
